Calvin Heimburg was the inspiration behind the Toro. He wanted a flat-top, overstable, midrange disc that he could have confidence in—something that could handle his level of forehand torque. After several variations, the Toro was created and named by Calvin.
Calvin Heimburg was in control from the opening round onward at Swenson Park. He started the tournament with a 1090-rated, 13-under on the A Layout and carried the lead into every round from there. Coming off three straight Top 10 finishes, including a podium, the win continues what has quietly been one of the steadiest MPO seasons on tour.
