The Raptor is an overstable fairway driver that is a favorite of many Discraft pros. Think of the Raptor like the fairway driver equivalent of the Zone. The Raptor is ideal for shots between 275' and 300' and is great in the wind. These were ran in Colorshift Z plastic, giving them an incredible 'shimmer'. These have a touch more highspeed turn but the same hard fade as stock runs.
Plastic:
Discraft Z plastic is Discraft's most durable and overstable plastic, and this blend produces sleek designs with vibrant colors and a translucent to semi-translucent appearance, depending on the production run. It is resistant to wear and tear. Brand new Z plastic can be very slick. Grippiness tends to grow as the plastic beats in. Z Colorshift is Z plastic with a shimmer added to it, giving the discs more turn with the same fade.
