The Scorch is a straight flying distance driver.
The Scorch is designed to provide maximum glide with a reliable fade regardless of your skill level. Beginner to Intermediate players will find the Scorch an easy to throw straight flier that will fight to come back, even in the wind, while Advanced and Professionals can expect high-speed turn and a late finish producing amazing distance.
The Scorch is an understable driver with an overstable finish. It is famous for providing signature “S” flights and can be handled by players of all skill levels. The slightly domey flight plate allows for added glide and increased distance even at slower speeds. It has similar flight characteristics to the Surge SS, but a much different feel in the hand. The tackiness of these Scorches brings added grip to this run while sporting the ability to change pigments when exposed to different amounts of light. Once again, the 2024 stamp depicts a Godzilla theme, this time bringing in the King of Monsters’ rival, Kong.
Discraft ESP plastic, first introduced in 2006, was created to bring an increased grip to premium plastic without sacrificing too much durability. It beats in to fly a touch more understable than Z plastic and is only slightly less durable. The tell-tale sign of ESP plastic is the opaque, pastel-colored appearance along with a stiff but slightly tacky grip. ESP Colorshift is ESP plastic with a shimmer added to it, giving the discs more turn with the same fade.
